School Counselor’s Welcome

Welcome New & Returning TL Families! Go Timberwolves!

As the school counselor I address the developmental needs of all students through a comprehensive school counseling program in the areas of academic, career and personal/social development through classroom guidance, individual student planning, responsive services, and system support – working with students through school-wide events, in the classrooms, in small groups and individually. I am available to conference with parents, teachers and support staff and facilitate Student Study Teams (SST) and 504 Plan meetings. I am an active member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA)  and you can find out more about what school counselors do on their website.

Feel free to go to my website www.tlcounselor.org to get up to date information about TL’s comprehensive school counseling program. I hope you will be able to participate at least in conversation with your child about any of them. And as always, my door is open. Please feel free to contact me or just say “Hi”, anytime. I look forward to greeting you!

Warmest regards,
Vivian Garlick
